Creative Direction
Hi.
From the first piece of Johnathan Taylor Thomas fan fiction that I wrote in 1994, I’ve known that writing was the job for me. Today I work mainly in the digital space, running creative teams and writing for projects ranging from campaign to brand strategy to UX (and of course, beyond).
Work
Grammarly Keynote
-
Grammarly is often considered simply as a grammar tool, when in fact they offer a suite of tools to empower people to communicate more effectively. We helped the Grammarly team plan and execute their livestream event this summer every step of the way—from planning to scripts to set design to pre-and-post event marketing materials.
PagerDuty
-
PagerDuty needed help creating a brand campaign that would build brand awareness and educate customers about their offerings beyond incident response. We paired hard-to-ignore neon with gentler illustrations and an arresting headline treatment. The results are a high-energy campaign that was so successful it even inspired a few Halloween costumes.
One Medical
-
One Medical needed a website that was every bit as premium as the service they offer. We created an elegant solution that balances empathetic messaging, stunning photography, and intuitive UX that’s as useful as it is beautiful.
-
Twitter needed to create a privacy policy that people actually read. A tough ask! The answer was a big IA exercise and great headlines. We made the information feel interesting, important, and worth reading.

Crown Royal
Campaign Concepting
Crown has a very loyal customer base, but wants to expand to a much wider audience (21+ Gen Z). Along with a very robust comms strategy, we also delivered campaign concepts that spoke to this audience directly, and met them where they were (starting on social—a place Crown isn’t quite sure how to navigate so far).
